One starts from Belgentier, places Edouard-Granet, while going up by the street of Rayol, then by the ruesdes Mûriers, of the Fountain, Chateauroux; one leaves the street of the court on the left, one penetrates surune placette, where is a small false well, out of metal. It is to 4 or 5 meters with beyond starts the red layout. (the distance covered by all these streets and places hardly exceeds 200 meters.) Threshold of this Touge layout, opposite oneself, in full West, is drawn up, of almost vertical aspect, in any case terribly tilted, the hard dolomitic wall which supports Valbelle.Heureusement these are not these excessive slopes that it will be necessary to cross: the general direction will support on the extreme-left of this wall, by a spur which will be welded there not far
red traced faite.Le, initially horizontal, goes down then slowly, in Western direction, towards the fonddu ravine, then crosses the very small river, often dry, of which it goes up right bank A 15 min. of Belgentier a first post, marked " VALBELLE ", announces a junction. One is there in the small valley known as: " Wine Bottom ".

After this junction the path reassembles in laces a spur, on the left, to the top which, 15 new away minutes from the first, a second signpost ance of the first, a second signpost " VALBELLE ", but loosened and laid down on the ground, marks new and abrupt change of direction, of South in South-west, with abandonment on the left of the path followed up to now.

10 min. after, the red path attacks the large spur going up to South-west (left) to go to join the left of the large frontal wall. It rises in laces along the flancgauche this spur, in rather strong rise but very réguliére; reached, then exceeds lepoteau indicating " Balsam-Obscure " cave, located a little low and on the right of the ravindont one goes up the left slope (left and right getting along: ascending direction). This cave is rather difficult access and can be visited only during the dry season, says Mr. HENSELING(Zigzags in the VAr, April 1935).
